What does the 1-year warranty cover?

Our workmanship warranty covers the work we build, for 1 year from completion. If something we built comes loose, fails, or was not installed right, we fix it.

Normal wear, damage from storms or severe weather, misuse, and changes made by anyone else are not covered. Material warranties come from the manufacturers.

What manufacturers cover

Material warranties come from the manufacturers, per their own terms. If a board, fastener, or material fails under its warranty, we help you file it.

What is not covered

Normal wear and weathering over time
Damage from storms, severe weather, or falling limbs
Misuse or alterations by anyone other than Prime

Sweep off leaves and pollen so moisture does not sit on the boards.

Wash with mild soap and water, not a pressure washer on high.

Restain or reseal wood decks every 1 to 2 years to keep them looking new.

Check screens each spring and call us if one needs a re-tension or patch.
