Materials and options
Repair versus replace
If the framing and ledger are sound, we replace the boards and rails. If the ledger is rotted or the frame has racked, we tell you straight and price a rebuild. We never talk you into a repair that will not hold.
Board matching
We match new boards to the existing deck and let you stain the whole thing together so it reads as one surface. We use the same species and board width so the patch disappears.
Ledger and joist inspection
The ledger against the house is where decks fail. We inspect it and the joists before recommending any repair. Rot at the ledger means a rebuild, not a board swap.
Warning signs
